When we remove a tree we normally recommend you remove the stump as well. There are a variety of reasons why, but mostly because:

- poisoning the tree stump can result in the death of nearby trees.

- they may attract termites/white ants.

- they become a tripping hazard (and a public liability nightmare).

- they can cause new unwanted tree growth.

- it will allow replanting or better use of your space.

Stumps are ground to a minimum or specified depth and grindings are removed as required.
